Dr. Julie Krasne
Veterinarian
Dr. Krasne was born and raised in the Midwestern plains of Nebraska and Kansas. After graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984, Dr. Krasne began her veterinary career in Central Vermont, where she lived and practiced for 13 years before moving to Maine in 1998.
Although she adores all creatures great and small, Julie considers herself to be a "cat lady." She resides in Freeport with her feline companions Qamar and Munya and an aquarium filled with nano-fish.
When she's not working, Julie enjoys sea kayaking, birdwatching, fishing and appreciating the bounty and natural beauty of the four seasons here in Maine.
