Dr. Christy Peters

Christy Peters is a fun loving veterinarian who comes to us with 11 years of emergency medicine experience and six years as medical director and partial owner of an emergency hospital. She has a special interest in wound repair and ultrasonography and enjoys surgery. Her optimistic and enthusiastic attitude keeps our days with her upbeat and interesting.

Outside of work she spends her days with her husband and 4 children on their small farm in rural Maine where she cares for their horses, goats, guinea hens, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. She loves hiking, riding, and knitting. She is especially passionate for emergency and urgent veterinary medicine.
